For about 35 years I have been writing music to express my love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Having been saved in 1980 and began singing with a group of men in our church, and later traveling full time and singing about the Lord, I began to entertain the thoughts and melodies that the Lord was putting in my heart. Not long after that I came home and began singing with my then fiance Nancy, and my mother Zula Hopper. Shortly thereafter, Nancy and I married, and we sang together with mom for about five years, and then my middle brother Ronnie Hopper began to sing in my mother’s place. We sang together for approximately 30 years along with the help of a lady from our church, Jean Bruce, and now I sing with my son Jason Hopper and a young lady from our church Rachel Alexander. All along the way, the Lord has continued to give me songs, and to put people around me, to help me get them completed.
